Albert E. White 85, of Dyer, IN. passed away Sunday August 17, 2008; He is survived by his wife: Elaine R. Olsen; son: Robert (Marcia) Curry; daughters: Susan (Jon Sheiner) White, Beth Anne (Kevin) Gibbs and Amy White-Hanas (Joe Hanas); grandchildren: Christopher Curry, Susan Kruse, Allison and Graham Hanas, Carly and Chandler Gibbs;great granddaughter: Corina Curry; sister: Ruth (John) Smith; brother: Joseph White; preceded in death by his wife of 47 years: Betty Cleveland-White, his parents and 4 brothers; A memorial service will be held on Wednesday August 20, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Westminster Presbyterian Church 8955 Columbia Ave. Munster, IN. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 11:00-1:00 PM; Albert was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and Choir, Served as a Lieutenant, piloting a B-25 bomber for the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theater during WWII and was a longtime Insurance Adjuster in the Calumet Area; In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name to the Westminster Presbyterian Church or the Veterans Memorial Fund c/o Community Foundation, 905 Ridge Rd. Munster, IN. 46321 would be appreciated.
