Albert C. Hand, age 88, of Munster, IN died on Sunday, September 23, 2018. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 2, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 8955 Columbia Avenue, Munster, IN followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 pm. Refreshments in the church hall afterward.Al was born in Shamokin, PA to Charles Albert and Mildred Iva Hand. He attended Penn State University and Dickinson Law School. He served with the U.S Marine Corp during the Korean War and practiced law in Indiana for 41 years before retiring. He was a man of integrity, intellect, and love.Al was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Left to honor his memory are his wife of 63 years, Josephine Row Hand; daughters, Joie Hand (Bill Fischer) and Lois Hand-Miller(Tom Miller); son Karl (Michelle) Hand; 5 grandchildren, Katie (Jay), Kori, Karli (Ian), Evan, and Alayna; and 5 great grandchildren, Carter, Cal, Ruby, June, and Micah.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in his memory.
