Ann Marie Klobuchar, 86, was surrounded in love as she passed away on December 7, 2013 at Journey Care Pepper Family Hospice Center in Barrington, IL. She was the beloved wife of the late William Klobuchar and was a loving Mother to her surviving children Barbara (Kent) Beaverson (Alpharetta, GA), son William (California), Debbie (Danny) Carroll (Naperville,IL), and Maryellen Sadler (Barrington, IL). Devoted sister to John S. Klobuchar and special friend to Barbara Rubesha. She is adored and loved by her 10 grandchildren: Nicole, Michael, Amy, Amanda, Rob, Mark, Eric, Nolan, Aidan and Ryan. She was also a loving Great Grandma to Zachary, Matthew, Diane, Lucas, Avery, Brayden, Parker, Ben and Olivia. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Diane DeArmond, her parents Steve and Mary Klobuchar, and her brother Stevie Klobuchar. She longed to be reunited with those that passed before her and made sure they were a part of her long journey home.She loved her grandchildren and spent numerous hours babysitting – their antics and sense of humor offered her pure pleasure and kept her young. Her love of needlework produced many loving gifts and pieces of artwork that will be cherished for years to come. Ann was a long time resident of Hammond, Indiana and a parishioner at Holy Trinity Croatian Church in East Chicago and St. John Bosco Parish in Hammond. Her faith in God and her devotion in prayer to the Blessed Mother held her strong throughout her life and most recently in her walk with Alzheimer’s. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Visitation will be held at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Avenue, Munster, IN on December 11, 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass to be held on Thursday, December 12, 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Parish, 4754 Carey Street, East Chicago, IN with the Rev. Charles Niblick officiating. Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Hammond.
