Anthony E. Saklaczynski, 79 of Munster, IN passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gloria (nee Shmagranoff); daughters, Michele (Jeff) Connor and Camille Saklaczynski; grandchildren, Nickolas and Casey; sisters, Pauline Sokol and Arlene Malocha; many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by 6 siblings.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 3:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 3:30 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Friday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 11, 2014 at St. Thomas More Church, Munster, IN. Interment will be at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.
Tony retired from the Hammond School System and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Msgr. Weis Council. Tony was a loving, husband, father and grandfather, who will be missed by everyone who knew him. In lieu of flowers, contributions to a Charity of your choice in his memory would be appreciated.
