Arlene (Imbirowicz) Dworak passed away peacefully on April 19, 2019 in Mooresville, NC. Arlene lived most of her life along the Chicago lakefront before moving to Calumet City, IL and eventually Munster, IN. In July 2016, she moved to Mooresville, NC to be closer to her son, and to enjoy southern hospitality and warmer weather.Arlene was born March 1, 1934 to Alex and Lottie Imbirowicz. She was preceded by her sister Dolores Erickson, brother Alex Imbirowicz and husband Joseph Dworak. She is survived by her two children, Dale Dworak and Diane Pieczynski, and 4 grandchildren: Leiden Dworak, Lanaye Dworak, Kristin Pieczynski and Brenden Pieczynski.Visitation for Arlene will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10:30-11:00 am at the Carmelite Monastery, 1628 Ridge Rd., Munster, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am at the Monastery. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
