Barbara E. Stine, 90, of Elkhart, IN formerly of Munster, IN passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Creasbaum; son, Thomas (fiancé Cheryl) Stine; grandchildren, Jacob Creasbaum, Katy Stine, Becka (Brian) Altiere and Emily (Eric) Welter; great grandchildren, Brennon, Brooks and Maxwell; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Stine; son, Dr. Robert Stine; son-in-law Dennis Creasbaum; sisters, Betty Lewis, Martha Morrill and Mary Williams. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 12:00 pm at KISH FUNERAL HOME, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Following the service, interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Barbara was a graduate of Purdue University School of Pharmacy and worked as a Pharmacist in the Calumet area for many years. She was a charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Barbara was a member of Tri Kappa, Kappa Kappa Gamma and Friends of Hospice. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alzheimer’s Research in her memory would be appreciated.
