Bonnie A. Westerfield (nee Markanich), 69 of Munster, IN formerly of Hammond, IN passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. She is survived by her son, Paul (Christine) Westerfield; daughter, Lynn Westerfield; grandchildren, Caitlin and Jacob Fitch, Paul “PJ” Westerfield; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Westerfield; sister, Melody O’Day; brother, Joseph “Eddie” Markanich; parents, Ruby and Joseph Markanich.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 3:00-7:00 pm with a Funeral service at 7:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. with cremation to follow.

Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed by all who knew her. She retired from the School Town of Munster. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society in her memory would be appreciated.
