Bridget Hennel (nee McPartlin) entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 11, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.  Devoted wife of the late Richard Hennel; loving mother of Patricia Hennel, Michael (Donna) Hennel and Noreen (Ron) Bickel; cherished grandmother of Allison (Ken), Audrey, Michael, Douglas, Jack and Cody; beloved sister of Mary (late Ephraim) Reynolds, Katherine (late Packy Joe) McTigue, Thomas (Philomena) McPartlin.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Ann (nee McAuley) McPartlin; and brothers, Michael (Bridget) McPartlin, John (Anna (Baby)) McPartlin; dearest friend of Mary (Thomas) Reynolds; endearing aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Bridget was born in Dowra, County Leitrim Ireland and emigrated to the Chicago area at the age of 18.  Bridget spent the next 70 years working hard, raising her family and was employed as a bookkeeper/administrative assistant.  Bridget was a sweet soul and will be dearly missed.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, April 17, 2020 at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN. Private Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Alsip, IL.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Franciscan Village, Palos Community Hospital Hospice, or the Hospice of the Calumet Area in her loving memory.
