Carol Sue Trollmann, (nee Gasper), age 83, entered eternal life on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband Nicolas M. Trollmann with whom she shared 46 years of marriage, her parents, Dennis and Rose Gasper, and her brother, Dennis.
Carol was a long-time resident of Crete and an employee of Verson All Steel Press for over 38 years. She is survived by her sister-in-law Anita Gasper, niece Sonya Weeks, and many dear friends. Through marriage, she is survived by two nieces, Nancy Wakeham and Joanne Walczak, and a cousin, Barbara Arndt. After Nick’s death Carol’s neighbors and friends made her part of their families and she treasured their help and friendship through the years, especially these last months.
Visitation Wednesday, September 4 at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Avenue, Munster, IN from 9:30 to 11:00am with a chapel service beginning at 11:00am. Interment following at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL.
In lieu of flowers have a glass of wine at dinner in honor of Carol; that would make her smile. Or, you can make a memorial tribute to the charity of your choice or to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 8601 Harrison, Munster, IN 46321.
