David N. Collins, 71, of Beecher, Illinois, passed away Monday,February 5, 2024. David N. Collins, 71, of Beecher, Illinois, passed away Monday,February 5, 2024. He is survived by Liz, his wife of 44 years, and sons, Matthew and Jordan, granddaughters Alyssa and Abigail,
brothers Mark (Laura) Collins, Peter (Mindy) Collins, Paul Collins, and sister Rebecca McShea, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his
parents, John and Violet Collins, and brother Jonathan. David had just recently retired from Menards after 20 years of service, and formerly he was the Caddie Superintendent at Flossmoor Country Club, where he helped many young men and women achieve the Chick Evans Scholarship. He loved watching football and baseball and was a lifelong loyal fan of the Chicago Bears and the Cubs. One of the thrills of his life was watching the Cubs win the World Series trophy in 2016. He loved his family and looked forward to the times when everyone could be together.
