Dennis William Hanify, 86, of Munster, IN passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025. He is survived by his sons; Robert (Carrie Shelton) Hanify, and John W. (Robin) Hanify; granddaughter, Jennifer Hanify. Dennis was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Janet Ann Hanify; parents, William T. and Lilabelle Hanify.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a service starting at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at St. Benedict Cemetery in Crestwood, IL on Monday, March 3, 2025.

Dennis proudly worked as an engineer for 35 years after receiving his Bachelors of Engineering and MBA at Illinois Institute of Technology. He enjoyed hunting, model trains, an avid fan of antique cars, and spending time with his family.
