Douglas Bass, 65, of Lansing, IL passed away suddenly on Friday, November 24, 2017. Beloved husband for 39 years of Gloria (nee Grzyb). Loving father of Steven (fiancé Samantha), David, Bryan (Mallory) and Christine Bass. Cherished grandfather of Cameron Tyler, Henry and Penelope. Caring brother of Patricia (Tom) Grant, Bonnie (Tom) Giancola, Annette (Larry Daniels) Murray and Albert (Ginger) Bass. He was a generous uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Doug was a well-respected member of Ironworker’s Local 1 for over 35 years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 3:00-8:00 pm at KISH FUNERAL HOME, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in his memory would be appreciated.
