Edward “Fast Eddie” Clarence Anderson, age 94 of Munster, IN passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. He is survived by the love of his life for 67 years, Eleanor; son, Randy; daughter, Sharon; grandsons, Ryan, Cody and Storm; and great grandchildren, Brooks, Charlotte, Easton, Parker and Jace. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Annie; brother, Elmer and Emil; and sister, Margaret, Ethel and Doris.
Funeral Service and Interment with Military Honors were private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood, IL.
Fast Eddie attended VV Grammar School and graduated from Fenger High School. He served Honorably with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Fast Eddie retired from Sherwin Williams as a Supervisor after 40 years and where he met the love of his life, Eleanor. He was a die-hard Cub’s fan and avid golfer. Fast Eddie also loved getting together with the old Roseland “Spaghettios Club’!
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Edwards’s name to Honor Flight Chicago (www.honorflightchicago.org) which he really enjoyed a few years ago with Comrades.
