Eileen M. Flynn, 101, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018. She is survived by her children: Kathleen (Jack) Doherty of Schererville, IN, Terrance “Terry” (Nancy) Flynn of Bolingbrook IL and Mary Ann (Bob) Mackey of CA, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and daughter-in-law Lois Flynn. Eileen is preceded in death by her husband Jack, son Daniel Flynn, granddaughter Meghan Flynn and grandson John Flynn.Eileen was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Dyer. She was a very generous and spirited woman who was proud of her Irish heritage.A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 10 am at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, In 46311 with Reverend Charles Niblick officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass at 10:00 at the church. Burial will take place at St. Mary Cemetery, 87th St. & Hamlin Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805.
