Elizabeth “Liz” Schmidt, age 62, of Schererville, IN passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Schmidt; son, Matthew Schmidt; daughter, Andrea (Brett) Davis; father, Charles Withers; sister, Linda (Steven) Foster; brother, Charles Withers; brother-in-law, Mark (Carol) Schmidt; sister-in-law, Diania Schmidt; nephews, David and Michael Foster and Brian and Jeffery Schmidt; and cousin, David (Sue) Withers and many caring relatives in Scotland. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Withers. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018 at KISH FUNERAL HOME 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with Pastor Quincy Worthington officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Memorial Park Crown Point, IN. Visitation will be on Sunday, at the funeral home, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and again on Monday, at the funeral home, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service. Liz was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Liz’s name to Humane Indiana.
