George H. Marschall, 89 of Schererville, IN passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Beloved father of Linda (Dan) Covey. Loving grandfather of Angela (Shane) Keister and Laura Tarry. Cherished great grandfather of Addison and Avery Keister and Ethan Tarry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Marschall; brothers, Robert and William Marschall and sister, Florence Corkery. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Washington Memory Gardens, Homewood, IL. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. George retired as a Conductor from Metra Electric and was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Homewood, IL. George was a resident of Hartsfield Village Rehabilitation Center in Munster, IN where he was president of Resident’s Council and offered spiritual support within the facility. He loved Chicago sports and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan! Go Cubbies!!!!!!!!
