Gerald T. Rash passed away April 12, 2020 at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. Gerald was born on August 26, 1946 in Hickman, KY the son of Thomas and Vera Rash nee Eakes. He is survived by his children Christopher Rash and Jennifer Gerndt. Also surviving are his siblings Greg Rash and Sandra Harper as well as a special friend Kathy Balbo, son-in-law, Sebastian. and many close cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Janice, and a brother Danny Rash. Gerald served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and worked for more the 40 years at Bethlehem Steel in Burns Harbor. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, dogs, and word puzzles, and watching T.V. A private family memorial service will be held Thursday April 16, 2020 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m.
