Irving K. Feldman, 96, of Munster, IN formerly of East Chicago, IN passed away on Saturday May 5, 2018. He is survived by his sons, Edward of Munster, IN and Dr. Jerry (Git) Feldman of WestBloomfield, MI; grandsons, Jake, Mark and Josh and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Pauline; his siblings Anne Kodicek and Harry Feldman and daughter-in-law, Nancy Feldman. He was the devoted son of Jacob and Mollie Feldman. Funeral service will be held on Monday May 7, 2018 at 11:00 am Congregation Beth Israel of Munster, 535 Progress Ave., Munster, IN. with Rabbi Mordechai Levin and Rabbi Raphael Ostrovsky officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service. Interment will be at Waldheim Cemetery,Forest Park, IL. Irving was a graduate of East Chicago Roosevelt High School and served with the U.S. Navy asQuartermaster during World War II. He was the owner of Midway Supply, Star Hardware andHarbor Home in East Chicago. Irving was a member of Beth Shalom Congregation in EastChicago, Congregation Beth Israel in Munster, Adult Friendship Club of the Jewish Federationof Northwest Indiana, B’nai B’rith, Highland Elks Lodge #981 and American Legion Allied Post369. Contributions may be made to Congregation Beth Israel, JewishFederation of Northwest Indiana or Hospice of the Calumet Area. Please omit flowers.
