Jane Marie Ferko, 62 of Lansing, IL passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 28, 2024.  Jane was born in Hammond, IN to Paul and Lucille Bomba on July 19, 1962, as the oldest of six children. She married George Ferko on July 2, 1983 at St. Florian Catholic Church in Chicago, IL.  She enjoyed learning about her family ancestry, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Jane is survived by her husband of 41 years, George J.; daughters, Shannon (Tom) Ziolkowski, Katlin (Louis) Grugel and Alexandra (Colin) Framke; 9 grandchildren, Jacob, Brody, Camden, TJ, Colton, Tess, Archer, Hank, and Wesley; siblings, Paula Boukal, Paul (Angela) Bomba, Vicki Bomba-Arden and Luke (Jamie) Bomba. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.  Jane was preceded in death by her father, Paul Bomba; sister, Edith Brooks and her grandparents.

Visitation will be held at KISH FUNERAL HOME 10000 Calumet Ave.  Munster, IN on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.  Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at 1:00 pm directly at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Crown Point, IN.
