Jim Witkewiz, 75, of Munster, IN passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017. He is survived by his daughters, Beth (Paul) Boyle and Debbie (Marty) Kessler; grandchildren, Connor and Caroline Boyle, Corinne and Sammy Kessler; brother, Richard (Dorie) Witkewiz; sisters, Margie (Spike) Palko, Maryann (Late Joe) Villarreal and Cathy (Late Jim) Marks; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis (Kaleta). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 3:00-8:00 pm at KISH FUNERAL HOME, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Saturday from 9:30-10:00 am at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Maria Goretti Church, Dyer, IN. Interment will be private. Jim was a loving husband, dad, and grandfather. He took care of his wife, Phyllis throughout her life. He loved spending time with his grandkids and was so proud of them. Jim had a great group of friends who he enjoyed going to dinner with. We will miss him greatly but glad he is with the love of his life again.
