Joseph R. Hybiak, born December 3, 1941, passed away May 11, 2026.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph G. Hybiak and Sophie (Pyszcznski) Hybiak, brother; Erwin (Bernice) Hybiak, sisters; Shirley (Ben) Zyglowicz, Patricia (Edward) Chukur, nephews; Brant Chukur, Alan (Joan) Zyglowicz, and niece, Sharon (Gene) Miceika.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Raynette L. (Johnson) Hybiak, daughters; Kimberly A. (Chris) Pitts, Danielle D. (Kevin) Brown, Grandson; Kai H. Brown, nephew; Barry Zyglowicz, and several great nieces and nephews.
Joseph was a graduate of Thornton Fractional North High School in 1960.
From stockboy to division manager, he worked 25 years for Sears Roebuck and Company and 14 years in sales for River Oaks Ford. He retired in 1998 at the age of 58.
He enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas with family and friends and was also an avid duck hunter and gun enthusiast.
His latter years were spent re-living his youth with his lifelong best friend, Robert Malczyk. They enjoyed breakfasts, movies and memories.
