I want to pass along my condolences on the passing of my Great Great Uncle John. He was my grandma’s (Mary Takacs) brother and my mother’s (Alice Wleklinski) great uncle. He told a story about how he would drive thru Zionsville, IN in the 1960s and stop at a Dairy Queen that was next to a Bentley car dealership. That same Dairy Queen and Bentley dealership still exist in my hometown. God bless.

Irene, Charlie,Nancy and Sally, Sending all of you our heartfelt condolence's on the loss of Johnnie,a truly great natured wonderful man! Many night's we spent outside watching the sunset, moon rise and the star's twinkling in the sky after Johnnie had his ice cream and I am sure he is making sure to it that he gets his daily ice cream in heaven. He often talked about being the look out guy when he was in the Navy and now you can all be certain he is the look out guy in heaven watching over all of you.Heaven has truly gained a GREAT man! RIP Johnnie From all The Kratky's

My condolences to Charlie, Nancy, Sally, Irene, and Uncle John's grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. I remember Uncle John with an always ready smile and a big laugh. During our Christmas Eve family gatherings and dinners in the 1960s through the early 80s, Uncle John and Aunt Sophie always brought the “Greek” feta (or farmer’s) cheese, which was one of the highlights for me, along with Aunt Sue’s poppy-seed bobalkies. Knowing it was my favorite, Uncle John would hand the block of feta to me and would watch as I peeled open the foil container. Early in the dinner, I would repeatedly reach for pieces of the cheese and eat. Uncle Casey warned me that eating too much of the cheese would make me “pee sand.” Uncle John would laugh at this, and reassured me that it would not, encouraging me to eat as much as I wanted.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
