I’m going to miss Joe, he was a great listener and I loved listening to his stories of just just about anything. I’m sorry to miss the service.

Dear Sliwa Family,I'm deeply saddened to hear of Joe's passing. I was happy to see him at our last reunion and the dinner we had at a fellow OLPH brothers house. Our OLPH class of 1974 lost a grade school sibling & the world had a bright shining star go out. My thoughts & prayers are with you all. May God grant you peace and comfort now & throughout the years to come.Love,Lucie

Joe and i worked together on developing thermal Imaging applications. His voice was a very familiar voice on the phone and i enjoyed working with him as well as seeing him on his occasional work trips up here to Michigan to see us. The news of his passing was a shock, and i am sad that i did not get the chance to say goodbye. i will miss working with him and hearing his voice on the phone. Joe, may the Lord, give you rest in a place of brightness, a place of refreshment, a place of repose, where all sickness, sighing, and sorrow have fled away. Memory Eternal.

I had the pleasure of working with Joe at Connors Industrials. Joe was a very intelligent man and always had a good fishing story to tell. He will be missed by his work family.
