My God-daughter,Katie was a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. . My love for her never wavered. This quote came to mind as I think or thought of her when I saw her the other night 🌙. "Some people come into your life and go quickly and others stay for awhile and leave footprints on your heart and you are never the same...." that's how and what I feel. I am proud to be her Aunt and Godmother and she is where she can do and be everything she wanted IN life and watch down upon her daughter and Mother and sisters and father and look for us in the future to show us the way when it's our turn for God's calling.....with love Aunt Kris...

My heart goes out to this kind hparted.Loving family especially Katie's daughter and parents, particularly my Mentor? Louis Gikad whom is one of the best people i have ever had the privilege to meet. Katie would have been a tween when I started teaching with her father. Though a private person, Mr Gikas would sometimes share stories about Katie and through those stories, I met a loving, witty, detwrmines little girl who grew up to be an amazing woman. Whomever wrote the obituary wonderfully captured the essence of Katie and the life she lived. It brought tears to my eyes.knowing not only does the rest of the world. Ot get to be touched by this beautiful soul, but also that she has left a giant hole in all of the hearts who knew and loved her. My prayer is that the bright light of. Katie's life can light a path for those who mourn her passing, and can guide them through the darkness of that hole to be able to find peace, and to realize how lucky they were to have her warmth, her kindness, and her love. May her legacy continue on in all who were blessed to know her.

Dear Kathy, Lou, Lily and family, I will always remember Katie as a young teenage girl when I first met her. Beautiful and friendly. I remember the day Lily was born a sweet baby girl who was her mother's look alike. Katie has been in my prayers for years, and I know the pain you are going through. She, as you described her a true warrior. Rest dear Katy you will live on forever in spirit. I love you Gikas family and my prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. Jeannine & Bill Taylor
