Kenneth J. Dybel, age 81 of Munster, IN passed away on Friday,
October 4, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna (nee
Hnatko) Dybel; daughters, Stephanie (Samuel) De Los Santos and Erica
(Tim) Moseley; granddaughter, Ruby De Los Santos; and grandson, Lucas
Moseley. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Frances (nee
Sajdyk) and Joseph Dybel.
Funeral Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at
KISH FUNERAL HOME 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will
follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Crown Point, IN. Visitation will
be on Friday, October 11, 2024 at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. to
7:00 p.m. and again, on Saturday, at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m.
until the 11:30 a.m. service.
Kenny was born on September, 15 1943 in East Chicago, IN to Frances
and Joseph Dybel. He attended Bishop Noll Institute and graduated in
1961. Kenny served as an Army Medic in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967.
He retired from Wolverine Pipeline after working there for 28 years.
Throughout his life, Kenny was an avid fisherman and hunter and
enjoyed camping with his family. He camped at almost every state park
in Indiana and even ventured out as far west as Wyoming. Kenny was a
sports enthusiast and loved cheering on the Indiana Hoosiers, Chicago
Cubs, Chicago Bears and the Chicago Bulls.
In his retirement, he enjoyed being a snowbird in Florida and Arizona
to escape the frigid Northwest Indiana winters. In lieu of flowers, please

He was a "I'll give you the shirt off my back, if you need it" neighbor and friend, always looking out for for all of us on Marigold.
