Leon Kozlowski age 99 of Munster, IN passed away May 13, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years Alice Kozlowski; adored daughter, Susan (David) Kucharski; cherished grandson Scott Kucharski; nephews, Joseph Kozlowski, Robert McLear III; and his nieces, Sally Baumer, Kathy Gray.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Petronela Kozlowski; brother, Joseph (late Rita); sisters, Wanda Baltran, Rita (late Chester) Orzel; nephews, Dennis Kozlowski, Michael McLear.

Leon was a veteran proudly serving the US Navy in WWII. He enjoyed woodworking and was an excellent carver. He retired as Vice President of Manufacturing at Capital Engineering and Manufacturing Company. In his retirement he maintained an active lifestyle, going to Fitness Pointe 3 days a week until the age of 97. He will be missed for his sense of humor and devotion to his family and many dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 8501 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN.
