Your mom lived next door to my son and I remember him telling me what wonderful people both your mom and dad were and how much he enjoyed them. You are so lucky to have had your mom for so many years. My prayers are with your family so you may enjoy the memories of her long life.

I still remember my first trip to the Midwest... Hammond, IN... Jane and I walked up the steps to the front door of that house on Tapper Avenue. We were greeted by Marcella and Bob. Marcella treated me like I was one of the family right from the outset. Marcella can now RIP... baking pies with heavenly crusts for all the Prendergast and Aubry family members "up there" to enjoy.
Jane (Prendergast) Arellano left a message on September 26, 2017:
My dear Mother, Marcella, was a very good person who loved the four of us children very much. She was so dedicated to keeping our home a comfortable place where we grew up learning many things from her. She was definitely a mentor for me. I was able to prosper because she guided me into my future. I owe her so much gratitude and will truly miss her but I am so pleased that she has been reunited with our beloved father, Robert, who loved her so dearly. Rest in peace, dear Mother, knowing you taught us well to stand on our own.
