Mike Alexiou, 83, of Munster, IN passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Antonia (nee Floutsis). Loving father of Dena (late John) Davos, John (Angie) Alexiou and Spero (Laura) Alexiou. Cherished grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 3. Several siblings living in Greece. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 pm with the Trisagion Service at 6:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 7021 Hohman Ave. Hammond, IN. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church or the Hospice of the Calumet Area would be appreciated. Mike owned and Operated Mike’s Restaurant in Calumet City for 40 years. He was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and AHEPA.
