She married Peter J Siavelis in 1954. She is survived by daughters Elenie (Keith) Smith, Rita Siavelis, Mary Zubay and son James (Gail) Siavelis. Also surviving, grandchildren Greg (Memry), & Daniel (Lea) Smith, Caleb Horton, Jorden Zubay & Aidan and Owen Siavelis, great grandchildren Archie Smith and Silas & Atlas Smith as well as close friends Herb and Josephine Yekel.She is preceded in death by husband Peter, her parents, her brother, Thomas, and grandson Roger Smith. A member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church since 1964, she taught Sunday school, was a member of Ladies Philoptikos and enjoyed her role as coordinator of the bookstore. She was employed at Community Hospital in Munster from 1973 until retirement.Visitation is February 15, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Final services will be held on February 16, 2018 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 7021 Hohman Ave. Hammond, IN 10 AM. Burial will be at Calumet Park Cemetery.
