Patrick Michael Doran, age 63 of Highland, IN passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020.  He is survived by his wife, Therese Marie Laciak; children, Shaun and Rachel (Josh) and adorable grandchild, Aria; mother, Barbara (nee Blanchard) Doran; siblings, Raymond (Peggy) Doran, Jr., James (Cookie) Doran, Jean (Dan) Petrow, Suzanne (Robert) Pihl and Erin (Scott) Simpson.  Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Patrick Doran, Sr.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN by Reverend Declan McNicholas.  Interment will be held with Military Honors at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood, IL.  Visitation will be on Thursday, at the church, from 10:00 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Mass.

Patrick was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force and served as a Security Specialist.  He attended St. Michael’s and Carl Sandburg H.S. in Orland Park, IL and attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. Patrick was a devout Catholic and member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He was very service orientated and always put others first.  Patrick will be dearly missed.
