A life well lived creates a legacy of love. The short time we interacted with your family demonstrated his beautiful legacy. May you continue to be blessed and share memories for generations.

Condolences to the Bomberger family. I have known Pete most of my life, also, remembering living next door to his warm hearted grandfather in Glendale Park. So many of us have passed recently but we keep them all in our hearts and prayers. God Bless

We were good friends for more than 60 years. We met in high school -- Pete, Jane, Wendy, Bob, and me -- and got together several times over the years. It was a great group. God bless, Pete. Deepest sympathy to you, Cathy.
Mary Ellen Pyrz left a message on September 11, 2021:
We are so sad to learn of Pete's passing. We wish Cathy and Pete's beautiful family comfort and strength. Pete was always such a gentleman. He was a confident leader yet never too busy to be genuinely interested in others' lives, sharing in their joys, and always inserting little bits of humor into each conversation. Cathy and Pete made a great team, a beautiful marriage and a life together that accomplished more than they can know by their example and their love of family and friends.

Mary Ellen and I were especially saddened to learn of Peter's passing. We remember fondly the special times we had travelling with you on behalf of the State Bar Association. Pete was an exceptional leader, mentor and spokesman for the lawyers of this state. Always the gentleman, he was a pleasure to work with and for so many years. Our prayers are with your family.

Rest in Peace Pete, We shared so many good times with Pete over the past 36 years, and have become true friends. Celebrating Family weddings and many vacations together. We will always cherish those memories of the Bomberger/Dixon get togethers. Two families hanging out was always special. We will remember Pete with love and affection always, he was a kind, thoughtful man, who we felt was part of our family. He will be sadly missed by us all. He left us a great legacy of treasured memories.

There are few words to describe Peter C. Bomberger. He will truly be missed. --- A true gentleman! "The True Gentleman is the man whose conduct proceeds from good will and an acute sense of propriety, and whose self-control is equal to all emergencies; who does not make the poor man conscious of his poverty, the obscure man of his obscurity, or any man of his inferiority or deformity; who is himself humbled if necessity compels him to humble another; who does not flatter wealth, cringe before power, or boast of his own possessions or achievements; who speaks with frankness but always with sincerity and sympathy; whose deed follows his word; who thinks of the rights and feelings of others, rather than his own; and who appears well in any company, a man with whom honor is sacred and virtue safe." - John Walter Wayland

Rest in Peace Mr. Bomberger (for that is what I called him). Those trips to Boundary Waters and Canada were such great times. Getting homemade Sarsaparilla on that goofy island with all those paddles is something I will never forget. And canoeing in the rain in Michigan, finding those cabins to get out of the rain and dry out as much as possible. Seemed miserable at the time, but looking back it was a great trip. Sleeping in the back of the FMC with the dad's up front, like our own little hideaway. I cherish those great times together and that is how Mr. Bomberger will forever stay in my memories. My condolences to all of you, from all the Moore's in California.
