Randall “Randy” West, 78 of Dyer, IN passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; sons, Tim, Marcus, and Terry (Lisa) Bartczak; grandchildren, Tyler, Blake, and Robbie; sister, Dawna Sladcik; brother, Kirk West; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 4:00-8:00 pm with a Funeral service at 8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. There will be a final goodbye at on Thursday at 8:45 am at the funeral home. There will not be a procession to the cemetery because of the distance. We will meet at the cemetery at 10:30 am. Interment will be on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 11:00 am at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.

Randy proudly served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was a Purple Heart Recipient. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 17 Hammond, IN. Randy retired from the Illinois Lottery. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s activities. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org) in his memory would be appreciated.
