So Sorry to hear of our Cousin Ricky's Passing. We regret the Sorrow of his wife, children and grandchildren, friends and co workers. Such a remarkable Man he was. Rejoice in knowing that he now lives in Eternity, waiting to see each of us again. My earliest memory of Ricky was at Bobby and Jeannie's house on Harrison, in Hammond. Ricky had a pedal car and "boys will be boys"...."push me Kenny", he said, "You wanna go Fast?" I asked ", Yeah Speeding Fast . He said, . I was older and should have known better....When Rick turned into the driveway, the car went over on it's side and CRASH....Owww! He scraped his arm on the concrete driveway! Jeannie and my Ma gave me Hell ! we were confined to the house after that. I bet Rick would remember that caper.

My most memorable time with Rich (AKA Doc) was in Las Vegas with Al, Robbie and Me. We were there on a golf trip at Al's home. One night we went out for a steak dinner at a very fine restaurant. We had so many great laughs that the Matre Dee came over to our table and asked us if everything was alright. It was a great moment; one I will never forget. I will miss his infectious smile and sense of humor. RIP my friend!

I hear his voice in my head and know what he’d be thinking … I will never forget Rick. We talk about him all the time in our house WWRS -What Would Rick Say. He always welcomed me into his family, sometimes for weeks at a time. He was my brother and he’s not gone.

Dear Pietrzak Family; Mr. "Cubs" will always be remembered as a successful man in life, not only in business but in life's adventure. Mr. Pietrzak was always a strong supporter of his community, Schererville FOP Lodge #170, Golf Outing, Turkey Raffle, X-mas Toy Run etc. Mr. Pietrzak could share any story over coffee, cocktail or a hearty laugh about his family, The Cubbies, and current events. I will always appreciate your support to FOP Lodge #170 and its members over the years. Bless you and know God has box seats to Wrigley Field.

We had the pleasure of meeting Rick through the Degenais family. He truly cracked me up. I felt like I was waiting for the next funny quip to come out. You just never could know what he was thinking or about to say. And I loved that about him! He was incredibly generous and always welcoming! It was our pleasure to know him! He will certainly be missed by so many!

So long, but not goodbye forever because I’m sure we will be reunited in the next glorious life. You were my “Cuz Deluxe”; always giving whether it be a hug, a smile, or your wisdom, and ALL of what you gave to Others is how I will always remember you. This world now has a definite dent because of your passing. You will be truly missed Ricky. All my love, Kayda
