Robert Green, 85, of Lansing, IL passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Brncich; grandchildren, C.J. and Marissa Brncich; sisters, Anne (Tom) Joyce, Mary (Bobby) Douglas and Dot (late James) O’Neill; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Ellen Green; wife, Lucie; son, Kevin; brothers, Patrick “Paddy”(late Patricia), James “Jimmy”(late Cheri) and John (late Nettie) Green; sister, Fay (late Tom) Stewart. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10:00 am at KISH FUNERAL HOME, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Robert served with the Royal British Air Force. He retired from U.S. Steel. He was a member of the C.C. Drifters Golf League and Dart Club. Robert was an avid fan of the Hamilton Accies, Scottish Soccer League. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Waterstone Cr. Joliet, IL 60431 would be appreciated.
