Ronald P. Feldner, M.D. age 91 a 30-year resident of Schererville, IN passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Phyllis Feldner, M.T.; children, Mark (Cheryl) Feldner, M.D., Michelle Feldner (Hilary) Lancaster, D.D.S, Barry (Susan) Feldner, D.D.S M.S., Mona Feldner (Karl) Bajzek, R.D.H. and Carla Feldner, (Jeff) Schwartz, R.N.; and 20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Frances Feldner; and brother, Joseph (Donna) Feldner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025 at St. Maria Goretti Church 500 Northgate Drive Dyer, IN. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery Glenwood, IL. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at KISH FUNERAL HOME 10000 Calumet Ave Munster, IN from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and again on Monday, at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Mass.

Ronald P. Feldner, M.D. was well known in his community for his 55 years of compassionate care in Family Medicine. He touched the lives of so many patients, families and friends through his love for patient care. Ronald was highly respected by his colleagues and patients. His love for his family, patients and friends will forever be remembered. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made in Ronald’s memory to Leader Dogs for the Blind and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

I will always remember the years spent working, as nurse, wirth Dr Feldner . He was not only a delight, but a kind, caring, considerate man. I admired him for being an exceptional physician and family man. We all enjoyed his practical jokes and sense of humor. My sincere condolences to Phyllis and his children. I was lucky to have known Dr Feldner and I will smile every time I think of him. Rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to the entire family. Dr. Feldner was my first AME for many years. He was great at what he did, and will be missed. I remember waiting an hour and a half in line at his retirement party at the clinic just to congratulate him. That is testament enough as to the kind of person he was. Godspeed Dr. Feldner.
