Rose Monteleone, 93 of Munster, IN passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024. She is survived by son, Tony (Mary) Monteleone; daughter, Liliana (late Richard Altgilbers who passed away 11 years ago) Monteleone; grandchildren, Patricia (John) Lawson, Nicholas (Dawn) Monteleone, Brian Altgilbers, Veronica Monteleone, and Cepriana Monteleone; great grandchildren, Nicholas Jr., Anthony, Vincent, Johnny, Molly and Gianna; daughter-in-law, Mary Monteleone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicola Monteleone; son, Edward Monteleone; parents, Vince, and Immacolata Ali.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 7:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 pm. Memorial contributions to a charity of your choice in her memory would be appreciated.

Where to begin? I really don’t know life without Rose(Rosa). Liliana, you & your mama were at my Grandmas all of the time. I can remember the first time I learned you two weren’t blood relatives-someone could have knocked me over with a feather. Your family has always been family to me & Rose— just the sweetest woman ever. The thoughts & memories I have warm my heart & I thank God for all of them & for him putting you all in our lives.
