Rosemary Eileen Fitzpatrick passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. She is survived by her son Thomas (Nathalie) Fitzpatrick and grandchildren, Sean Fitzpatrick, Emma Fitzpatrick and Noëlle Fitzpatrick. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Michael Fitzpatrick.
Rosemary was born and raised in Chicago. She lived there most of her life with Michael and family, close to her parents and cousins. She helped him run his business until retirement. She often volunteered at their parish school.
Later, they moved to Northwest Indiana to be closer to their grandchildren, getting to see them grow into wonderful young adults.
In recent years, though she had many health challenges, she was surrounded by family, and many new friends, including doctors, nurses and care workers who served her ceaselessly. They made her final days peaceful in difficult times. She was very thankful to all of them for helping her finish well.
Rosemary was a woman of faith, and prayed for all of us daily.
Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with Pastor Randy Roberts officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. service.
