Tim Hunt, age 41, of Minneapolis, Minnesota (formerly of Munster, Indiana) passed away September 30, 2025. Tim’s life was defined by his extraordinary kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to helping others. He was beloved by family, friends, and colleagues because he always put others first and never hesitated to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer; his parents Jim & Mary Hunt; his brothers, Kevin (Michelle) and Chris (Suzie); and his nieces and nephews, Beckett, Izzy, Jacob, Mackenzie, and Teagan. Tim’s deep connections extended to his aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends. He was the social glue who brought people together, fostering lasting bonds and cherished memories.

Tim graduated from Munster High School, Wabash College (B.A.), and St. Thomas University – Opus College of Business (M.S.) where he earned recognition for his academic achievement. He was a proud member of Phi Kappa Psi and Delta Sigma Pi.

For over 15 years, Tim made his home in Minnesota, where he excelled professionally at Target as a Senior Team Lead and most recently at Proctor & Gamble as a Growth Analyst. He earned numerous awards for his professional achievements. He was also an active and accomplished member of Toastmasters International.  Yet, it was his selfless dedication outside of work that truly set him apart. Tim volunteered as an Assistant Wrestling Coach for Edina High School, taught math at The English Learning Center in Minneapolis, mentored STEP-UP interns, Habitat for Humanity, Girls on the Run and partnered with Workforce Solutions for the Work Readiness Program.

Tim’s life was a testament to service—he gave generously of his time, talents, and heart to make the world a better place. His compassion, warmth, and willingness to help anyone in need left an everlasting impact on all who crossed his path. Tim’s legacy of kindness and philanthropy will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Funeral Services will be held at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM with Words of Remembrance beginning at 12:00 PM.  A private luncheon will follow.
