Tracy Ram Hirsch was born in 1965 in Augusta, Georgia and lived in Munster, Indiana, where he spent most of his life. He graduated from Munster High School and Indiana University and remained a lifelong Hoosier. He passed away peacefully at home on February 5, 2026.
Tracy greatly admired his father, Dr. Melvin “Meash” Hirsch, who passed away in 1998. Some of Tracy’s happiest memories were summers spent in the family’s backyard and pool with friends and neighbors.
Tracy was endlessly curious about the world. Like his mother, Rosemary Hirsch, he followed economic markets and world news closely as an Options Trader and he read hundreds of books on many different subjects. He had a sharp sense of humor and a genuine appreciation for comedy, even taking classes at The Second City.
Tracy is survived by his mother; his sister, Allison Hirsch Fore (Allen); and many cousins and friends. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Kneseth Israel Cemetery Hammond, IN.
