Vitusca Campioni (nee Orlandi), 98, of Dyer, IN and formerly Munster, IN, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025.

She was born September 26, 1927 in Buggiano Castello, Italy a province of Pistoia. In late 1945 her family immigrated to America, settling in Chicagos historic neighborhood.

Vitusca is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Sergio Campioni; parents, Italo and Maria Campioni; brothers, George (Debbie) Orlandi, and Gaziano (Judy) Orlandi; and sister-in-law, Marisa Orlandi.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Cheryl) Campioni; grandchildren, Nicholas (Raquel) Campioni, Brandon (Alexandra) Campioni; great grandchildren, Nicholas Robert, Giavanna  Vitusca; and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Vitusca loved being Nonna to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching her granddogs Trigger and Mishka. She was an avid cook with a batch of her famous chocolate chip cookies being in high demand. She was loved by everyone she met and will be greatly missed.
