Bob Goodman, 82 of Munster, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dana; sons, Marc (Deborah) and Bubba (Amy) Goodman; daughter, Leslie (Anthony) Smith; cherished grandchildren, Erin, Matthew, Dylan and Bailey Goodman, Megan and Rachel Smith; preceded in death by is parents, Morris and Luba; brothers, Phillip and Harold Goodman. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN and Friday from 10:00-11:00 AM. Funeral service will on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Bob was a graduate of East Chicago Washington High School Class of ’45. He went to Indiana University and then on to Butler where he earned a B.S. degree in the school of Pharmacy. He owned and operated the Goodman Drug Co. in East Chicago and the Prescription Counter in Dyer, IN. He was a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacist and served as a consultant and pharmacist to a number of nursing homes in Lake County. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Congregation Beth Israel or Hospice of the Calumet Area in his memory would be appreciated.
