Brano Coric (1957- 2023)

Brano “Branko” Coric, aged 66, of Dyer, IN departed peacefully on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, surrounded by the unwavering love of his wife and children.

Brano is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 35 years, Tatjana Coric; his cherished children, Stefan, Aleksandra, and Zarko Coric; and his mother, Mara Coric. He was preceded in death by his father, Mirko Coric, and sister, Branka Coric.

Born in Mostar, Herzegovina, Brano moved to the Indiana Harbor (East Chicago) in 1967, where he was better known as Branko. As a keen entrepreneur and businessman, he delved into the automotive industry early in his life. His business portfolio grew to include Shell franchises, towing services, and automotive repair shops. In 1982, Branko established the multi-generational business, Complete Car Center, where he took great pride in being able to work hand in hand with his children at their various locations. Above all, he held his family as his most treasured accomplishment and the pinnacle of his joy. This profound love stands as his enduring legacy.

His honesty, sharp wit, decisive nature, and invaluable counsel, combined with his steadfast commitment to friends and family, will forever resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023 DIRECTLY at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church 9191 Mississippi St. Merrillville, IN.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Orthodox Cemetery Merrillville, IN.  Visitation will be on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Pomen Service at 6:00 p.m.
