Darlene R. Anderson, 92, of Lansing, IL passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. She is survived by her daughters: Dariel (Jim) McGrath-Koehler and Karyn Dungey; grandchildren: Sean (Beth) McGrath, Shannon (Bryan) Jordan, Andrea (Michael) Passantino and Amy (Chris) Gurchiek; great grandchildren: Ray, Eloise, John, Quinn, Caroline, Stella, Nora and Lyla; brother: Joseph (Mary Lou) Arcurio, Fred (Laura) Arcurio and Gene (late Mary) Arcurio; sister: Janet Ivinskas and Helen (Manny) Losada; sister-in-law: Betty (late Alfred) Arcurio; brother-in-law: John (late Mary Lou) Zambanini; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henning and sons-in-law: Ray McGrath and John Dungey. Darlene loved spending time with her family and friends, sharing her love of cooking and storytelling with all. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 am with a funeral service at 11:00 am at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Holy Cross cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Darlene was a Hairstylist and Manicurist for many years. She was active with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Chicago. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Lowell Healthcare Activities Department, 710 Michigan St. Lowell, IN 46356 in her memory would be appreciated.
