Dorothy L. Woynovich, 88 of Dyer, IN passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021. Dorothy L. Woynovich, 88 of Dyer, IN passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021. She is survived by her daughters, Michele (late Tom) Host-Collier, Donna (Ken) Scheman, Heidi Woynovich-Beemsterboer and Holly (Robert) Levan; grandchildren, Heather, Timmothy, Meghan, Cassara, Cody, Calyssa, Austin, Ethan, Kyle, Griffin, Madison and Willow; great grandchildren, Stephanie, Lexi and Savannah; brother, William (Gerri) Kovacic; numerous nieces and nephews; special thank you to her caretaker, Dawn Dwyer. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; daughter, Diane Woynovich; parents, Frank and Pauline Kovacic; sister, Marilyn Zalokar; brother, Frank Kovacic and her faithful companion “Peaches”.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:30 am at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00-11:30 am at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and daughter at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Memorial contributions to Humane Indiana, 421 45th St. Munster, IN in her memory would be appreciated.
