Aunt Gerry truly lived her faith. She epitomized the Proverbs 31 woman. She was loving, kind, gracious and generous with her time and especially the great meals she always prepared. She was an exceptional cook and baker and even told me a few of her secrets, like adding chives to her potato salad to give it that extra kick. I have been very blessed to have lived in Uncle Ralph and Aunt Gerryś building for these past thirty years. They are very dear family to me, along with their wonderful, devoted daughter Peggy and her sweet daughter (their granddaughter) Shelby, and my other dear cousins and their children. My Uncle and Aunt were also my neighbors for the past twenty-five years as well as being my landlords, so we got to know each other very well. We had lots of fun, especially on the holidays. The memories I have will always be cherished. The thing that impresses me most about my Aunt is her solid faith in Jesus. I had the opportunity to sit with her in church and witnessed her time in prayer. She was truly alone with her Savior and intently praying to Him. It was a genuine relationship. She daily relied on her faith and she sincerely lived it. My Auntś great legacy as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend is obviously because she was loving. She had a prayer list and your name was included in her daily prayers, and her prayers were heard, and answered. I will miss her warmth, her smile and her love, but I know that she is enjoying Heaven right now, and she is truly at peace, and joyful for all eternity. I look forward to seeing her again as her faith has certainly made her whole and her strong reliance on the promises of Jesus and His resurrection, I also share. God speed Aunt Gerry! I love you and yours always... Your devoted niece, Cathy
