John “Wes” Talton, 75 of Lansing, IL passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hope F. Talton; parents, Ethel and John Talton; brother, Johnny Lee Talton. He is survived by his son, Jesse (Sharon) Terrazas; grandchildren, Tyler (Paulina) Terrazas, Seneca Terrazas, and Gabriel Terrazas; brothers, Virgil (Leslie) Talton, and Cornell Talton; nieces, nephews and many Godchildren.
John was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for the Chicago Transit Authority for 28 years. John shared the love of golfing, vacationing, going to casinos, and socializing with friends and family. His infectious laugh and smooth coolness will be dearly missed by all who loved him. Please take comfort knowing that he is with his soulmate in God’s loving hands.
