Joseph L. Adams, age 85, of Munster, IN passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Marlene; brothers, Jack and Tony Adams; loyal caretaker, Jennifer; his “buddy”, Anthone; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 DIRECTLY at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church 1 E. Wilhelm St. Schererville, IN with a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial offered by Reverend Martin Dobrzynski. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery Evergreen Park, IL. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again at the church, on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Vigil Service 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Joe was an educator for over 50 years as a Teacher, Principal and Superintendent of Schools. He was passionate about his school kid’s and had a “stern” love with all of them. Joe also had a soft heart for all of nature and the animals that lived with us. He will be dearly missed.
