Lottie Rogers, 91 of Dyer, IN, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021. Born June 21, 1929 in Lublin, WI. The daughter of the late Bert and Anna Gabrys. Lottie was one of ten children. She is survived by her children, David (Nancy) Rogers, Gary (Georgianna) Rogers, Peggy (Richard) Stepuszek, January (George) Michels and Michael (Deborah) Rogers; Grandchildren, Jenny Fischer, Amanda (late Mike) Eby, late Paul (Lara) Rogers, Charlene (Bill) Krefting, Gary (Kelly) Rogers, Christy (Mike) Warn, Richard Stepuszek, Michael Stepuszek; great grandchildren; Bryan, Shawn, Evan, and Olivia Rogers, Katie and Luke Krefting, Jacob and Josh, Warn, Preston and Addie Rogers, Kyle and Samantha Fisher, McKenzie, Michael, Cody, Hannah, Denver and Gracie Johnson/Eby. sister, Ann (late Harold) Casper; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins by the dozens. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Rogers in 1995 and 8 of her siblings.
Visitation will be Monday, February 22, 2021 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Tuesday from 9:00-10:00 am at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Church, Dyer, IN. She will be laid to rest next to her husband James at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations for Masses or donating to the Grotto at St. John the Baptist Church in Harvey, IL.
Lottie was a loving mother and grandmother and truly enjoyed cooking for the entire family, Vacations at Lake of the Ozarks and Kentucky Lake with family and friends is where so many great memories were created. Lottie was a very dedicated member of the catholic church, she volunteered at Dyer nursing home, Lottie is a graduate from Jones Commercial Business School, Class of 1947 and enjoyed her career as a real-estate Broker for 40 years at Cedar Crest Realty until 1995. Lottie will be loved and missed by all that knew and loved her.
