She is survived by her sons: Gene (Mitzi), Phil, Steve and Jerry Braun; daughters: Anita (Frank Kale) Kane, Mary (John) Albert, Fran (John) Kopulos and Valery Braun; grandchildren: Sam, Julie, Ryan, Kelly, Joe, Jessica, Ian and Jillian; 7 great grandchildren; brother: Ed (Diane) Hughes; numerous nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her parents: John and Bessie Hughes; former husband: Gerald Braun; brother Jack Hughes and sister: Betty Rose. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home with a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Knock Church, 501 163rd St. Calumet City, IL with Fr. Patrick Lyons officiating; Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Marilyn was a member of Our Lady of Knock Church and retired from Sears at River Oaks.
