I was saddened to learn of the recent passing of my good friend, Michael Dimitroff. I was just out of Hammond HS in 1964, working in the St. Margaret Hospital hematology lab at my first summer job, when we first met. Michael took me under his wing & served as mentor, role model, & hero over the next several years. What a caring individual - & with one of the greatest personalities of all time! We will all miss him. God bless. /GJB Powell, Ohio

It was a pleasure taking care of Dr.Michael Dimitroff. His love for life will never go unnoticed He lived his daily life in the now, always educating me on anything happening in the world. We had many great conversations from politics to psychology. He said to me, I just cant believe you the "director" will be helping me in my most private times of a shower or other personal assistance", I told him I have done many things in my life, and that helping people in their time of need is what I do. He said, "well I trust you and as long as you are fine doing it then I am fine." From there on out he made light of things. He will forever be in my heart. Thank you to his loving son Asher for allowing us and trusting us in his journey.
Asher left a message on March 18, 2021:
